They are intended to be succeed the iPhone 15 series of smartphones, which Apple released in September 2023.

It is said to be a Capture button that has a capacitive touch screen and acts as a shutter button to take photos or videos. The button also allows users to adjust the focus and zoom levels.
The report also claims that the action button on the iPhone 16 Pro will be larger than the previous iPhone 15 Pro. According to the report, the phone will measure 149.6mm x 71.4mm x 8.4 mm, making it larger than the older model . It also has a 6.3-inch display with thin bezels.
