Gang-R*ape : The incident took place when the woman, who was cycling with her husband to Dumka in Jharkhand, stopped to spend the night at a makeshift tent.
A Spanish tourist who was on a bike ride with her husband was raped multiple times in Jharkhand’s Dumka district, police said on Saturday.
Gang-R*ape : The incident took place late on Friday evening in Hansdikha area of Dumka when the couple stopped at a deserted place to spend the night at a makeshift tent.
According to police, three people were arrested in this case.
“The gangrape incident took place on Friday night,” Jarmundi Sub Divisional Police Officer Santosh Kumar told the news agency PTI.
The tourist couple was on their way to Bhagalpur in Bihar via Dumka and stayed in a tent near the Hansdiha market.
They are said to have arrived in Dumka from Bangladesh on a two-wheeler and traveled to Nepal via Bihar.
They were also attacked by those who were suspected of raping the woman.
Gang-R*ape : The victim is currently undergoing medical tests at the Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital in Dumka and further investigation is underway, the police said.
