Moscow attack LIVE updates: Police have detained 11 suspects – including all four terrorists directly involved in carrying out the deadly attack -following a “car chase” in Russia’sBryansk region.
An attack by gunmen during a Moscow suburban concert hall on Friday killed at least 93 people and injured over 100. The incident took place after a group of armed men stormed into Crocus City Hall concert venue in Moscow and opened fire and detonated explosives.

Hours later, the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the massive attack. However, no evidence was provided to support this claim. According to the terrorist group’s statement, it attacked a large gathering of “Christians” in Krasnogorsk, a suburb of Moscow.
A witness told AFP that the picnic was taking place shortly before the start of the concert when machine gun fire was heard.
The attack, which set the concert hall on fire and caused the roof to collapse, was Russia’s deadliest in years and entered the third year of the country’s war with Ukraine.
French President condemns the horrific incident
French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the attack, calling it a “terrorist attack.” Macron, in a statement, said he “firmly condemns this terrorist attack, claimed by the Islamic State.” He also expressed solidarity with the victims of the attack.
Russia says concert hall attackers ‘had contacts’ in Ukraine
Russia’s FSB security service said that the perpetrators of the deadly attack on a Moscow concert hall had “contacts” in Ukraine and were trying to flee there, state news agencies reported.
“After committing the terrorist attack, the criminals intended to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border, and had appropriate contacts on the Ukrainian side,” the state-run TASS news agency quoted the FSB as saying
