Amitabh Bachchan: According to a report, Amitabh Bachchan was recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. The actor is said to have gone to the hospital and was admitted with shortness of breath. It is said that he had to undergo surgery.

According to another report by The Indian Express, doctors at Kokilaben Hospital confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan underwent angioplasty at the hospital early Friday morning. An official statement on the matter “will be released by the PR team at a later date,” the statement said.
According to a Times of India report, Amitabh was discharged from the hospital on Friday morning and underwent angioplasty was performed on a clot in his leg, and not on his heart, as was being reported by some portals. The Hindustan Times could not independently verify these reports.
