The vulnerability “could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service condition, run arbitrary code, leak sensitive information, and bypass security measures on the target system,” according to CERT-In’s website.
The vulnerability affects iOS and iPadOS versions up to 16.7.6 for devices such as iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPad 5th generation, iPad Pro 9.7-inch and iPad Pro 12.9-inch 1. generation generation.
