Breaking: Sources said that Manohar Lal Khattar is likely to resign as Haryana chief minister on Tuesday (today). According to reports, Nayab Saini or Sanjay Bhatia could replace him. The Khattar-cabinet is expected to announce its collective resignation today. Officials also said there was a possibility that Khattar may be fielded from Karna in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Amid tensions between the BJP and JJP in the Haryana government, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar called a meeting of independent legislators backed by the BJP and the state. The Chief Minister has invited the BJP and state-sponsored Independent MLAs to the Haryana House at 11:30 am today. According to reports, this session will see the BJP chalk out a strategy to form the government with the support of independents.

Dushyant also called a meeting of MLAs

Interestingly, amidst the ongoing tension in Haryana politics, Dushyant Chautala also held a meeting with party MLAs in Delhi around 11 am. It is believed that Dushyant could take important decisions in this meeting. According to sources, JJP wants to field candidates for Hisar and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seats. Sitting Hisar MP Brijendra Singh quit the BJP on Sunday and joined Congress on Sunday.
